Ordered the deluxe beef noodles with Thai iced milk tea and mango sticky rice. Everything was good. Generous beef cubes and tendon with nicely done noodles. Some vinegar or lime would be nice to go with the flavourful soup. The mango sticky rice with coconut milk was delicious. The mango was sweet and the rice was served warm. The Thai iced milk tea was strongly brewed and not too sweet.

If you’ve never eaten Saap Saap Thai before, what are you doing! The food here is so delicious yet affordable (~$10 without drinks). I feel like none of their dishes can go wrong, just that be warned it can be quite spicy, so you might want to customise it to have less chilli if you have low spice tolerance.

We have been returning to Funan’s Saap Saap Thai for a couple of years. The food has been consistently good, with a nice spicy kick. It is also possible to get less chilli, which I did tonight because of my stomach The Crispy Chicken and Grilled Chicken Boat Noodles have always been our choices. We felt that tonight the portion was for some reason bigger, and we are the kind of people who can eat a lot. I took the Crispy Chicken out of the soup onto an extra bowl, because I wanted to keep the skin crispy. There were not a lot of people when we went on Tuesday Night, 715pm. That could be because a lot of people are out of the country on holiday. It could also be why we got such a big portion. If you are looking for a big dinner, highly recommend. Tables are clean, and you have to return your trays after eating. We will definitely return again in the future.
